Dirty Secret

Holy Crap. I just spent the last two days reading Flowers in the Attic. I swear I read this when I was in 8th grade, but I didn't remeber it AT ALL. It is the trashiest, most wonderful book I have read in years. I think I get the whole summer reading thing now.

What else should I read like this?? I want suggestions! It's the most fun ever! I might even read the whole series! Yay for getting a BA in literature, and finding you prefer V.C. Andrews to D.H. Lawrence!

Things that gross me out:

Chewing on a warm towel (which I don't think I've ever done, but good golly, just thinking about it is enough.)
Cracking knuckles.
White gunk on teeth.
Two paper-wrapped straws rubbing together (Oh My GOD - seriously - that makes me want to freak out.)
Loud chewing/teeth chomping/jaw popping.
Cans being crushed.
Pre-formed styrofoam being pulled out of boxes.
When one of my socks is on crooked under my shoe.
